Schloss Salenegg

Maienfeld, Graubünden

You are here

The estate vineyards of Chateau Salenegg are nested in the foothills of the Falknis. This mountain is characteristic of the region, it protects the vines from the cold north winds, creating a microclimate in which the vines enjoy growing. Together with the calcareous slate floors this situation creates a terroir, which made the "Salenegger" wines popular.
